Aunt Shirley I am going to miss you. I thank you for being there for Sheila and I, throughout the years after the death of our mother, Ruth Alice Napier- Butler. I will always have the memories of everything you taught me, and done for us, as you and uncle Sam expressed your love and care. Thank you for showing Erica what a Great-aunt you are. God chose another Angel to take home, and that beautiful Angel is you. I'm not mad at God for taking you, but I am hurt because I am still hurting for the loss of my mom. I know it is of his doing so that you will not have to suffer anymore please tell Mama, "Granny" Ethel, Grandpa Elzie, Uncle "June" Elzie, they are never out of my thoughts, and I will forever love them. Aunt Shirley you will not be forgotten because I will also visit you, as I do Mom, Grandpa and Grandma every time I come home. My heart is hurting and my soul is crying for I was not wanting to say goodbye to you this soon. Instead of saying goodbye and farewell I shall say I will see you again when God prepares my room to be reunited with you. I love you Aunt Shirley. I don't want you to leave me, but we have no control when it is our time to go. I will miss you. Aunt Shirley, you have, and always will be my favorite Aunt.
