Many moons ago, way back in the last century, I met Robin via David Nickolaus and Adele Havener. Julie, one of Adele's sisters, had a boyfriend and his name was Robin. I didn't know them well, and my family and I moved away for a couple of decades in the early 1990's, but I remember Robin as always pretty content and happy. We enjoyed a few beverages together back then, times were good, the living was easy. I always remember him being mellow and happy, in a wonderful, jovial way. When we moved back, our paths crossed few too many of times. Most recently, twice within a few weeks of his passing, once at Walmart I think it was, we chatted like no time had passed. And again at the University Pharmacy on Fairview. Robin seemed happy, content with life, I think he lived the life he wanted and went probably one of the best ways possible. My heart goes out to Julie, Collin and Chelsea, I can't imagine the shock of his immediate departure. You made his life whole. There is not more a man can ask out of life. Bless you all.
