I was very saddened to hear the news of Michael’s untimely passing. I worked at Oakland Jr. High school and had spoken to him just before I left the building that day. I told him how good it was to see him. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve his loss. I am glad to have known him. Blessings and prayers to you all.

There isn’t enough words to say to really let you and the family know how much you impacted everyone’s life and how much of a hole that will be left with you not being here. That bright smile, that laugh of yours, the laughter you gave us, the friendship, the trash talk….I am going to miss you so much. This is so hard writing this because never in my life did I expect you not to be here. I know God has a plan for us all but none of us were ready for this. I was thinking about the last time I saw you. We gave each other the biggest hug, cracked jokes and I said to you, before I leave to go home I will make sure I see you again. Sadly that was the last time I ever saw that bright smile and heard that laugh. Dear friend, I want you to know you are always in my heart and there won’t be a day that goes by that you will not be missed. I love you!
Phyllis,Im so sorry for your loss.I know your hurt, and I feel your pain.Seven months ago I buried my son.He was only 20 years old.
God comforts us not to make us comfortable, but to make us comforters. If you need a shoulder to cry on,or someone to talk to Im here for you.May God grant you peace that surpasses all understanding.
Phylliss, Words can not express the deep sorrow we feel in our hearts. Michael has been reflecting on Mike all week….growing up together, working at 3M. He had them all rolling at break time everyday. Our prayer is that God will give you comfort in your time of need. Take pride in knowing you raised such a fine man. We love you. I thank the Lord for putting you in my life as my classmate and a dear friend. Your smile lit up the sky and was very infectious. I remember riding in your little yellow car from the college (Graphic Arts) to Taco Bell laughing all the way while spliting 1 taco!!!! I remember the last time a seen you, we danced and danced!!! We will truely miss you 6’9. My heart goes out to his family and friends. I know each and every morning when the sun shines you will be smiling down at us. Miss you and love you always! The Scroggins.
Its so hard to believe that Uncle Mike is gone.. Meeting him was the best thing that could ever happen.. As momma would say shes going miss him calling her saying “Hey TinaBell what you over there cooking” or “hey Ash, what you been doing and i tell him aww uncle mike you know I been good…Hes truly going be missed…
Phylliss our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family just want you to know mike was loved by us all and will be missed by everyone that ever met him or knew him.
