To the family of Mary Scott, I remember with great fondness my classmate Mary. If you will check our maiden names we were often together because of alphabetical seating. I was really glad that it worked that way because we developed a special friendship. I’ll always remember her sweet smile and loving spirit.
To the family of Mary Scott I am sorry for your lost. Just some words of comfort to you that the bible holds out for all of our love ones who have fallen asleep in death. The reality for mankind now is that we are born on this earth, we get sick, grow old and die. But that will not always be. Jehovah God has something so much better in store for you and I. At Revelation 21:4 “And he [Jehovah] will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” From this scripture we see the promise that Jehovah God has made that we will not have to endure death, sickness, nor pain of any sort. All these things will be a thing of past. So you will see Mrs. Scott again, be reunited with her after the resurrection. We all will become young and vibrant instead of getting older and sick. Our bodies will be going back to perfection as Jehovah intended. Isn’t that a wonderful promise from our heavenly Father Jehovah God? I do hope that these words are of comfort to you. I’ve worked with Mary at Tyson for the last 15 years. She was a reliable, hard worker that did her job without complaint. She was such a sweet lady and will be missed. Hang on to the “good” memories of Mary, it will help you through this time. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
