My heart goes out to the family of Martha Harris. May Jehovah God strenghten you during this time . Jesus Christ said these words at Jo. 11:25 “I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.”
Jesus resurrected his friend Lazarus and he will resurrect our dead loved ones. He will also do away with sickness that leads to death. He will also bring and end to mankinds suffering in general.

Martha and I became AKAs with 5 other wonderful ladies in 1978. Since then, we worked diligently via the sorority, the NAACP and our churches “to make a difference” and to impact the lives of young folk.
She was a joy to know and I shall miss her. Ophelia, Gail, George and Lois, and Issac and Christine: I pray God’s strength and peace upon you as you embark upon life without your loving sister.
To the Family of Sis. Martha E. Farris:
Please accept out condolences regarding the passing of your loved one. Although words cannot fill the void that you feel, please know that we care. In times like these, we have an active and risen Savior, whose RESURRECTION brings us hope, peace and comfort – just by trusting and believing in Him and His promises. “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is [His] faithfulness.” May you be comforted by the Lord’s peace, promises and divine presence. Death is not the end for your loved one; it is the beginning of life everlasting. God has a prepared place for a prepared people. According to John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” We, therefore, commend you to the God of our Salvation and the Word of His Grace. Keep the memories of your loved one tucked safe in your heart. Because God lives, you are not alone; because He lives, you can face tomorrow. May God bless you.

I had the pleasure of taking Martha to her dialysis treatments…several times of the past couple of years. The first time I saw her I was struck by her beauty and radiant smile.
She was always so quiet and so polite. I knew she was from very good family.
Dear Martha,
I will miss you.
