Margaret C. Banty, 81, of Marshall surrendered her soul to Jesus on Friday, October 8,2010 at the Living Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 14, 2010 at North St. United Methodist Church. Burial wil Read Obituary
Please except our heartfelt condolences. Ms. Banty was very dear to our family and will be missed. Ron and I lived next door to Mrs Helen Monroe ( Aunt Helen to us) who was a sister to Ms. Banty. They would travel to Columbia to Mary Smiths to get their Geri Curls. They both are dearly missed. Keeping the family in our hearts and prayers!
I did not know Margaret, but my condolences go to Ena whom I have worked with in the past. Ena – she sounds like a wonderful woman by the comments left. I couldn’t help but notice the resemblance either! My prayers and thoughts to you and your other family members, as I am sure Aunt Margaret will be greatly missed on this earth. God must have thought that her work here on earth was accomplished. Sympathy to all of you.
We will miss Aunt Margaret. She was a fantastic lady with a great smile and laugh. She could lighten even the darkest of times. She loved her church and took pride in the building and the members. She looked so good in her new car! She was proud of her heritage and willing to talk about the changes in our world. She was great with Keith and Angel. We are all blessed to have known such a woman. God better have a list of things that need to be accomplished ’cause nothing can slow her down!!!!
So sorry for your loss. She will be missed.

She was a very special lady with a big heart. God has provided us with another special angel to watch over us. Aunt Margaret lived a full and healthy life. Margaret was a dear friend, who always treated me with kindness. She always had a hug for me and my children. She will be extremely missed not only by me and my family but, by all the countless people that knew her.
