"Elizabeth"... It almost seems alien to read it, because I always called her "Aunt Beth". Beth didn't sit on formalities that she didn't care for, and I don't have enough fingers to count the number of times she mentioned that I could drop the "Aunt" part. I will drop it today. I loved Beth very much. She was one of the sincerest people I have ever met, and she was a kind and caring as she was blunt. She always had the best advice! I spoke with her recently when Al passed and as always, she was a comfort. It is a bit ironic, because I was calling to comfort her, but not unexpected. As time moves forward and we lose the folks that shaped us in every little way we are left with the echoes of their voices and their personalities to guide us. I will miss her, and I will look forward to the moments when I hear her voice in the back of my mind to nudge me forward or to ask me, "Are you sure you want to do that?". My love goes out to my cousins. Your Mom was truly one of the greats. I love you all.
