Billie Robinett's Obituary
Billie Mae (Couser) Robinett, 90, passed away surrounded by her beloved family in her home on June 27th. A celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Village Meadow Clubhouse in Boonville at 11:00 AM.
Billie Mae Couser was born on January 27, 1934, to Nana Mae (Sears) Couser and Henry Couser. She married Billy Gene Robinett on April 12, 1952. Together, they had 3 children: Carla (Jeff) Brengarth of Boonville, Sharon Miller of Boonville, and Rick Robinett.
She had 6 grandchildren: Tonya Meyer of Ozark, Cody Brengarth of Columbia, Sonya Robinett, Tiffany Miller, Lena Fenton of Boonville, and Jade Robinett of Lee Summit. She also had 4 great-grandchildren: Maelynn (CJ) Hazel, Carleigh Meyer, Brant Meyer, and Karter Meyer. Additionally, she had two great-great-grandchildren: Oaklynn and Taeleigh Hazel.
Billie was known for her humor. She made everyone laugh, even at times when it wasn't really appropriate. Even taking pictures with her was a great time. She enjoyed watching MU basketball, baseball, Chiefs football, and, of course, the occasional Hallmark movie. She also loved going to the old Walmart to see all her friends and have supper there. If she didn't like something, she would let you know!
She also cherished spending time with her family and never missed any events involving her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Billie was a great cook, especially known for her noodles and Christmas fudge.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nana and Henry Couser, her ex-husband Billy Robinett, her son Ricky Robinett, her sister Ada Kilgore, her brother Gene Couser, her granddaughter Sonya Robinett, and her granddaughter Tiffany Miller.
She will be deeply missed.
