Yvonne Warrick's Obituary
Yvonne Warrick, 80, of Kansas City, formerly of Bunceton, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Morgan Street Baptist church at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be from 12-1 Saturday at the church. Yvonne Warrick, 80 of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on January 1, 2024 at St Joseph Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on April 28, 1943 in Bunceton, Missouri to the late Fannie Warrick and Harold Warrick.
Yvonne went to the Bunceton elementary and high schools and received her GED later in life as an adult. She held several jobs such as Tipton Shoe Factory, Toastmaster for 20+ years, Kemper Military School (part-time), Walmart, and she immensely enjoyed working as the Grandparent for De Lasalle Education Center in their print shop. Not only did she love spending time with family, but she was also a social butterfly and was always willing to lend a listening ear and give you her truthful opinion.
Yvonne had given birth to six (6) children two of which passed as infants (Rachelle and Kevin Warrick). She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters Cheryl Mitchell (Ezzard) and Jocelyn Warrick, her sons Chris and Stephen Warrick. She is survived by her youngest sister Elaine Williams. She also leaves to cherish her memory several grandchildren: Natasha Warrick, Nathan Warrick, Jeffrey Warrick (Brittany), Jeremy Warrick, Candy Perry, Sonya Perry, Gregory Perry, Marquis Perry, Latoya Lewis, Stephen Lewis, and Nateasha Williams. She has 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Olan, Elmer, Erma Jean, Elginora, Eldridge, Rodney, Donna Jo, and Florence.
Yvonne joined the Mount Zion Baptist Church – Bunceton, Missouri at a very early age, and later joined the Concorde Fortress of Hope Church in Kansas City, Missouri. Yvonne was a great mother, daughter, sister, and friend.
