Willis Buckner's Obituary
Willis Buckner answered the call of Jesus on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at University of Missouri Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 12:00 PM at H.T. May and Son Funeral Home in Columbia. Visitation will be from 11-12 Saturday at the funeral home.
Willis E. Buckner was born on September 11, 1941 in Hatton-McCredie, Mo. to the late Willis and Edna Buckner.
He received his education at Auxvasse School District. He was also one of the founders of the Zodiac’s Motorcycle Club. He attended Crows Fork Baptist Church of Calwood Mo. He retired from Gallup Trucking, LLC. He was married to Geraldine Galbreath, and to this union, he leaves to cherish his memory: Regina Kay Galbreath (Broderick); Roger Buckner; Randall Buckner; Rogetta Buckner (Marcus), all of Kansas City, Mo; non union, LaKeisha Buckner, Columbia, Mo; Sister, Mary Jane Brown, Columbia, Mo; Grandchildren, Ja’Von Maurice Buckner, Randall Eugene Buckner Jr, Broderick Tyrone Terrill, all of Kansas City, Mo., and a host of loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Brownie Virginia Johnson; grandson, DeMarco Roger Price.
