William "Billy" Saunders' Obituary
William “Billy” Saunders, 39 of Marshall passed into eternity on Monday, May 9, 2011 in Sedalia. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Grant Chapel AME Church in Moberly. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Moberly. Visitation will be from 6:30-7:30 Friday, May 13, 2011 at H.T. May and Son Funeral Home in Marshall and from 12-2 pm Saturday at the church.
William “Billy Saunders was born February 6, 1972 in Marsaline, Mo. the son of Joyce E. Tolson Saunders of Huntsville, Mo., and Harry D. Saunders of Bruswick, Mo. He moved to Marshall at the age of four with his mother where he was raised by his mother and step-father. He enjoyed playing cards and fishing with his family and friends. He enjoyed running track and playing football while he attended Marshall Public Schools. Billy moved to Sedalia, Mo. nad worked at Tysons for several years. His most recent joy was the birth of his new granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Joyce Saunders and his stepfather Robert WIlliams both of Marshall, Mo. one son Mathew Saunders of Marshall, MO., and one daughter Kendra Saunders of Independence Mo., one granddaughter Aa”nyah Saunders of Marshall, Mo., three sisters Carnia Abernathy of Marshall, and MArsha Saunders, Laura Reding, two brothers Curt and Tyrell Saunders all of Dubuque, IA., and a special friend Nicole Shy and a host of uncles, aunts nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
