William Floyd Robinson, Jr.'s Obituary
William Floyd Robinson Jr., 70, of Columbia, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2016, surrounded by loved ones at his home. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 15, 2016, from 1-3 PM at H.T. May & Son Funeral Home in Columbia, a military service will follow.
William Floyd Robinson Jr. was born December 26, 1945, in Moberly, Mo., the son of William F. Robinson Sr., and Luetta Jackson Robinson. William spent many years in the U.S. Military serving in both the Navy as well as the United States National Guard. He worked for many years with the city of Moberly Missouri water department and at the Columbia Missouri United Methodist Church as a church caretaker.
William had a love of sports, baseball being his number 1, as he not only played it, but he umpired many games. He was also an avid fan of the Missouri Tigers football and basketball teams.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Pheobie Ann Dameron-Robinson formerly of Moberly, Mo. of the home, his children Suzette L. Robinson of Columbia, Mo., Cynthia L. Dameron and her spouse Christopher Manly both of Columbia, Mo., Tony C. Dameron and his spouse Sherry Price both of Columbia, Mo., and Tommy L. Dameron of Columbia, Mo. His grandchildren Shayla Robinson, Xavier Robinson and his Fiancee Ashley Miller, Sietina Price, Xaviera Dameron, Za'Vaughn Dameron, Jordan Dameron, and his great-granddaughter Mary Jane Robinson, his sister Mary Robinson of Columbia, Mo., his brothers Michael Robinson of Columbia, Mo., and George Wilson and his wife Denice Wilson of Moberly, Mo., as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents William Floyd Robinson Sr., his mother Luetta Robinson, and his brothers Kenny Robinson, Bobby Jackson, Valgene Wilson and Larry Wilson, and his son William Floyd Robinson III.
