Wilhelm Kaltenstadler's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Wilhelm Kaltenstadler, who departed this life on May 18, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on February 20, 1939, in Augsburg, Germany, Wilhelm was a devoted father and a distinguished chemist whose contributions to the pharmaceutical industry touched countless lives.
Wilhelm immigrated to the United States in 1964, bringing with him a passion for science and a commitment to excellence. He devoted over 30 years of his career to Pfizer where he made significant advancements in the field of chemistry. His work was characterized by unwavering dedication and a quest for knowledge that inspired those around him. He continued to have relationships with many cherished friends from his time at Pfizer.
Wilhelm is survived by his beloved daughters Barbara Gamez (Tommy) and Kristin Ayres (Neil), Grandchildren Natalie Meyer (Garrett), Adrienne White (Fleet), Elliott Ayres, Marcus Ayres, and Nathaniel Ayres, great grandchildren Mason, Millie, and Fleet lV. Wilhelm was preceded in death by (the late) Judith Kaltenstadler, (father) Wilhelm Kaltenstadler, (mother) Therese Kaltenstadler, and his three sisters.
A life well-lived will be honored in a funeral service to be held May 27th. The details of the ceremony will be shared with family and friends, providing an opportunity for reflection and remembrance of Wilhelm’s remarkable journey.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pleasant Grove Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery Association.
