Wanda Nixon's Obituary
Wanda Nixon, 64, of Moberly, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at her home. Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at St. Luke United Methodist Church at 12:00 PM, visitation will be from 11-12 PM Saturday at the church.
Wanda Kay Nixon was born October 13, 1956 in Gravois, MO, the daughter of Franklin Joseph and Edna Marie Sherard Cornett. She loved spending time with her family which she loved the most. She loved reading, playing casino games on her phone and being outside . Her children and grandchildren were her life.
She leaves to cherish her memory eight children, Sonia Nixon of Columbia, MO, Christina Wolbeck(Martin) of Hallsville, MO, Michael Nixon(Christina) of Columbia, MO, Stephanie Botts(Mario) of Moberly, MO, Kristy Brown of Moberly, MO, Brittany Girdner(Andrew) of Moberly, MO, Jaimee Girdner(Pablo) of Columbia, MO, and Skyler Overton of Moberly, MO, fourteen grandchildren Braxton, Ja'Shyn, Alex, Landon, TyTy, Gravyn, Noel, Tabatha, Zach, Presley, Carson, Olivia, Ryker, K'ydence, three great-grandchildren Addyson, Brooklynn and Noah, five siblings Wayne Cornett of Warsaw, MO, James Cornett of Eldon, MO, Mary Reagan( James Greenup) of Edgewood, TX, Steve Cornett(Jaime) of Eldon, MO and JEsse "Junior" Jennings (Karen) of Eldon, MO and a host of nieces, nephews and family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Eddie and a daughter and life long friend Mike.
