Wallace Gipson Sr.'s Obituary
Wallace Gipson, Sr., 84, of Ashland, Missouri, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, April 12, 2026.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:30 PM on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at St. Luke United Methodist Church.
Wallace was born on July 27, 1941, in Ladonnia, Missouri, the son of Woodrow and Corine McMahon Gipson.
He was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who took great pride in his family. He will be remembered for his strength, his steady presence, and the love he shared with those closest to him.
Wallace is survived by his three children, Robert Lee Gipson (Debbie), James Michael Gipson, and Charyl Gipson, all of Ashland, Missouri. He also leaves behind a cherished legacy of twelve grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren who will carry his memory forward.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Wallace Gipson, Jr.; three brothers, James Gipson, Willis Gipson, and Spud Gipson; four sisters, Shirley Wasson, Evelyn Wasson, Mary Belcher, and Judy Belcher; and three great-grandchildren.
Wallace’s life was defined by his love for his family, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
