Vickie Wright's Obituary
Vickie Wright, 63, of Ashland, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on July 3, 2025. While she had faced ongoing health struggles for many years, her cause of death is currently unknown. Her passing leaves a deep void in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
Born on November 27, 1961, Vickie spent most of her life in Columbia, Missouri, before making her home in Ashland for the past 20 years. She was the proud mother of two daughters, Aeron (Phillip) Varvil, and Brooke Cheek, and the loving grandmother of Kaimen, Bella, Addison, McKinley, and Kayson.
Vickie was preceded in death by her grandparents Dorthy and Henry Baumgartner, parents Sonny and Betty Adair, her brother Mark Adair, and her beloved partner, Teri Dyson.
Known for her generosity and quiet resilience, Vickie was someone who gave freely, even when she had little to spare. She offered steady support, loyalty, and care to those around her, always putting others before herself. She would give her last soda, slice of food, or dollar to those in need. She will be remembered for her strength, her giving spirit, and the deep love she had for her family, especially her grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 17th from 4-7:00 PM at the Englewood Clubhouse in Ashland, Missouri (10260 E Englewood Rd, Ashland, MO 65010 ). Friends and family are invited to come anytime during this time to share memories in honor of her life.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that acts of kindness be done in her name.
