Velma Paxton's Obituary
Velma Jean Paxton, 75, of Sedalia, MO passed away at Rest Haven Nursing Home on March 19, 2024.
Graveside services will be held on April 12, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia.
Velma was born on March 11th, 1949 at Bothwell Hospital. She was the daughter of Robert M. Paxton and Elsie Morley Paxton.
She is survived by daughter, Lou Ann Bass (Ronnie); two granddaughters, Marty and Jeanie Bass; and one great-grandson, Mika; sisters, Edith Simons (Lloyd), Shirley Blacklock and Joyce Sisemore, all of Sedalia; brothers, Ducky Paxton of Sedalia, Bill Paxton (Glenda) of Warsaw, and Roy Paxton of Nebraska.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her companion, Robert Bruso; sisters, Ruby Harrison, Betty Aldrich and Mary Ruth Paxton; brothers, Bobby Paxton, Gary Paxton and Jerry Paxton.
