Thomas Allen Kingsley's Obituary
Thomas A Kingsley, 64, died at 5:20 PM, Saturday, May 4, 2019, at the University Hospital from an injury sustained due to a tragic mishap with his Rifle.
Tom was born on August 3, 1954, in Brockton Massachusetts where he was born to Joan Kingsley and the late Frederick Kingsley.
Tom Served in the US ARMY from 1970-1974 in Seoul, Korea. In 1984 Tom meant Cheryl and from that moment he knew she was the one. They got married in 1986 in Massachusetts and resided there for three years until moving to Ohio. In 1989 they moved to Dayton Ohio and resided there six months until Tom got offered a job at The Columbia Daily Tribune in Columbia Missouri printing Newspapers. In August of 1990 their daughter Sarah was born, and their son Jacob followed in September of 1993.
If you knew Tom, you were lucky beyond measure and you knew how he lived and loved his life. Tom’s whole life was dedicated to loving his Family, his Friends, and his Children’s Friends who he treated like they were his own. He loved the outdoors, working on projects, and most of all besides his family he loved the Ocean. He embodied an indescribable zeal for life; a true light to anyone who knew him.
He is survived by his mother and step-father Joan and Doug Johnson of MA, his wife Cheryl Kingsley of OH, his daughter Sarah (Martell) Lewis of MO, his son Jacob (Christina) Kingsley of MO, his brother Fred Kingsley and wife Joanne of MA, his Sister Lisa Kingsley of MA, his Uncle Richard Kingsley of FL, his Aunt Carol Steinert of RI, his two Grandchildren E’laina and Bryson Hickem both from MO, with several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was loved deeply by many friends and family.
