Thomas Bartlett, 67, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023, at Bothwell Regional Health Center. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Burns Chapel Freewill Baptist Church at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM Thursday at the church.
Thomas (Tommy) Dale Bartlett, 67 of Sedalia, Missouri born August 11, 1955, born to Darwin Nelson Bartlett and Marjorie Ann Rumsey both preceded in death.
6 living siblings, Jimmy Bartlett (Linda) of Stover, Joyce Ann Fox (Fred) of Sedalia, David Eugene (Susan) Bartlett of Sedalia, Joetta Gale Fisher of Sedalia, and Pamela Diane Bartlett of Sedalia, Cleo Darlene (Michael) Poindexter. Proceeded in death by two brothers Ronald Lee Bartlett of Otterville, and George Bartlett of Sedalia and one sister Judy Kay Oats of Sedalia and his best friend Paul Treece of Sedalia.
In 1984 he married Janice Crain and to that union they had one daughter, April (Bennie) Fisher of Columbia and two stepchildren Timothy Lee and Sarah Beth Davis of Sedalia. They divorced in 1995 and remained friends.
Two grandchildren, Austin Scott Lee and Kristina Elizabeth Marie.
Tommy Dale drove an 18-wheel truck for 20 years and saw 48 states during his travels and loved being outdoors, going for walks, fishing, and loved watching the Chiefs games with his sister Pamela, also going to the fair and eating funnel cakes. He loved his dog precious.
He had numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
