Terry L. Bush's Obituary
Terry Bush, 51, of Columbia, went to be with the lord on Wednesday January 23, 2013 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 1pm Tuesday January 29, 2013 at Faith Family Fellowship in Fayette, MO. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm at the church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Columbia.
Terry Lewis Bush was born December 24, 1961 in Fayette, MO to Roscoe Stemmons and Gussie Bush.
Terry began work career at Dairy Queen in Fayette, MO with John and Sandy Smith. Then inspired by Charles Eubanks, he went to work for the University of Missouri in the athletic department from 1986 until August 2010. He worked in Customer Service part-time at JC Penney’s. Terry worked for Levy Restaurant as a concessions manager until his departure.
Terry loved to travel with his son, Tyler. He enjoyed cooking for family gatherings. He also enjoyed catering events and loved transforming an ordinary room into something extraordinary. Terry truly loved his family and believed Family is a gift that lasts forever.
Terry leaves to cherish his memoryhis mother Gussie Bush of Fayette, Mo. his son Tyler Bush of Springfield, MO; sisters Shelia(Troy) Chapman of Fayette, Liz Bush of Olathe, KS; Vicky Bush of Fayette; brothers Steven Bush of Columbia, John Bush, Randy Bush, and Richard Bush, all of Fayette, his other son Julian Cave, his best friend Marvin Newbill, He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Roscoe Stemmons, one sister Betty Broadus, and a niece Patricia Bush.
