Tamara “Tami” Williams was a strong-willed, independent go-getter who’d give the shirt off her back and protect others in need, especially ones closest to her along with the clients she served as an entrepreneur. Tami took pride in the agency she owned helping individuals with developmental disabilities who she cared about just as much as her own family. Tami was full of spunk, loved life, enjoyed traveling and was driven by winning big. Though her life ended on January 20th, 2024 her memory will live on forever.
Tami was born on June 22, 1964 in Muscatine, Iowa to Marvin and Betty Ann Blake Bower. While growing up, she enjoyed roller skating, camping, fishing and being involved in Girl Scouts. Later in life she married Kevin Griggs who she had two children with, John and Rochelle “Red” Griggs. Though the marriage dissolved, she met the love of her life and married Randy Williams. Tami and Randy became a blended family with children John and Red along with Tosha, Raven and Randy Nichols who she loved as her own.
Tami was not only survived by her husband and children but sisters Angela Bowers of Columbia, MO; Sarah (Lonnie) Ellis of Sioux Falls, SD; as well as Belinda (Tom) Howland of Sebring, FL. She was also survived by eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild, nieces, nephews and many other family members.
