Sherwood 'Cunch" Logan's Obituary
Sherwood Logan, 65, of Columbia, MO, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019, at his home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019, at St. Luke United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM Friday at the church.
Sherwood 'Cunch" Logan was born on June 17, 1954 in Columbia, MO, the son of Cecil Logan Sr. and Rosetta Logan Hawkins Divers.
Sherwood was a faithful member of St. Luke United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir and also helped wherever he was needed around the church. He was known around town as a handyman and was well known in the community and around the university of Missouri Hospital.
He leaves to cherish his memory his fiancee Terry Vinson of Columbia, MO, three daughters Angela Shane and Monica (Brandon) Chamberlain, both of Columbia, MO, and Sherena Logan Thielemier(Brent) of Pocahontas, AR, two sisters Willia Faye Logan(Gregory) of Columbia, MO, and Emma York(Kirby) of Denver, CO, four brothers Howard Odon Logan(Elaine) of Columbia, MO, Gregory Logan(Sandra) of Columbia, MO, Julius Brazil(Sharlene) of Independence, MO, and Robert Dudley Logan of Atlanta, GA, his ex-wife Joyce Flowers of Columbia, MO, ten grandchilden, five great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Delphine Thomas, and one brother Cecil Logan II,
