Barbara Larocca
I think I met Elaine in elementary school and we became friends throughout our school years. She was so freaking funny and a hoot to be around; always had a smile. In elementary school, she was the best at tether ball and nobody could beat her. She had a great sense of humor and a wonderful outlook on life. At Jeff Junior we had some classes together; the two I remember were P.E. and home economics. She and I beat out everybody in our gym class in the softball distance-throwing competition and, of course, she won! Geez, she was strong. Last time I saw her was at our high school reunion and we had a good time talking together. I am so sad to learn of her passing and I will always remember her.
