Sherman A Bridgewater's Obituary
In loving memory of Sherman A. Bridgewater, a remarkable soul who touched the lives of many. On Monday, April 8, 2024, Sherman peacefully passed away at his home in Columbia, MO, surrounded by the warmth of his loved ones. He was 49 years old.
Born on July 3, 1974, in St. Charles, MO, Sherman was the cherished son of Jimmy and Judy Bridgewater. His presence brought joy and laughter to those around him. Sherman had a deep passion for movies and took great delight in building his extensive DVD collection. But what truly lit up his world was sharing the excitement of NASCAR races and WWE wrestling with his beloved son Cody, creating unforgettable memories together.
Sherman's legacy of love and kindness will forever be treasured by his adoring wife Angela, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Their unwavering bond served as a testament to the power of true love. Sherman also leaves behind his sister Michelle Bulen (Derrick) of Columbia, MO, who shared countless laughs and heartfelt moments together. Additionally, he will be deeply missed by his stepdaughter Emma Johnson( Parker) his grandson Corbin Johnson and his nephews Christopher Bulen (Lindsey) of Copperas, TX, Terry Bulen (Katie), and James Bulen (Jamie), all of Boonville, MO.
Sherman was preceded in death by his beloved mother and two sisters, Judy Bridgewater and Shawn Bridgewater. Although they may no longer be with us, their spirits will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved them.
In memory of Sherman, memorial contributions are suggested to the family, a gesture that will undoubtedly provide comfort and support during this difficult time.
Friends and loved ones are invited to gather together on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at H.T. May and Sons Funeral Home, at 2:00 PM, to celebrate the incredible life of Sherman A. Bridgewater. Prior to the service, a visitation will be held from 1-2 PM at the funeral home. May our collective memories and shared stories of Sherman bring solace and strength to all who mourn his loss.
