Sharon Gibbs' Obituary
Sharon Gibbs, 51, of Columbia, MO, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at the University of Missouri Hospital. Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church. Repast will be at 3:00 PM at the Tabernacle of Grace Ministry at 107 Business Loop of Garth Avenue in Columbia.
Sharon was born April 27, 1972, in East St. Louis, IL, the daughter of Ricky Perkins and Betty Young Jones. Sharon loved to travel and no matter how far she went in distance she always felt like she was close in heart. She loved clothes and she love to dress up in her finest wardrobe. She loved spending time with her family and was always a joy to be around even though she suffered from Sickel Cell anemia she was always encouraging to all those that she would come in contact with. Sharon loved spending time with her family and loved sharing a good meal with her friends and her family. She was a very loving person, and she will never be forgotten.
Sharon leaves to cherish her memory her three children Lasandra Warren, Antwan Anderson and Dre Meaders, her loving Mother Betty Jones of Columbia, MO, her three sisters Margaret Oliver of Columbia, MO, Leeniecy Smith (Eboni) of Maricopa, AZ, and Leesha Tyler (Eric) of Columbia, MO, three brothers Paul Green of Sparta, IL, Willie Flood of Omaha, NE, and Todez Donald of Columbia, MO.
She was preceded in death by her father Ricky Perkins and grandmother Margaret Smith.
