Scott Thomas Novak's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Scott Thomas Novak, aged 54, on Thursday, March 28, 2024, in the compassionate care of the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, MO. In honor of Scott, a Celebration of Life Barbecue will be held at a later date, bringing together all those whose lives were touched by his warmth and kindness.
Born on February 4, 1970, in St. Joseph, MO, Scott was the cherished son of Victor and Ann Magnor Novak. Throughout his life, Scott's genuine, caring nature was evident to all who knew him, especially to his colleagues at Walmart. Over the years, his co-workers became more than just friends; they were his extended family, sharing in life's ups and downs, always supporting each other.
Scott's legacy of love and dedication will forever be cherished by his beloved wife, Becky Novak, with whom he shared a beautiful life in their Fayette home. His mother, Ann Novak, of Apache Junction, AZ; his children, Timothy, Thomas, and Tabitha Novak, along with his other dear children; and his brothers, Victor Novak Jr. and Joe Novak, will hold onto the precious memories of the times they shared, finding comfort in the love he had for each of them.
Preceded in death by his father, Scott's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those he loved and in the many lives he touched with his kindness, humor, and compassion. As we prepare to celebrate Scott's life and legacy, let us hold tight to the memories and moments that made him so special to each of us.
