Sandra Robinson's Obituary
Sandra Robinson, 67, of Boonville, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at University of Missouri Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 31, 2021 at 2 PM at HT May & Son Funeral Home in Boonville. Services will be live-streamed through Facebook on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 2:00 PM at https://www.facebook.com/htmayfuneralhome.
Sandra Garline Robinson, affectionately known to friends as Sand or Sandie, was the second oldest child of three children born on January 3, 1953, to the parentage of Jessie Garline Robinson. Sandra's father was Ferd Pearson, both parents were of Boonville, Missouri. Jessie had one son that was still born and another daughter Barbara Patrick-McCurry of Jefferson City, Missouri.
on Thursday, July 15, 2021, her earthly life ended quietly to be with the Lord. Sandra was preceded in death by her mother, Jessie Garline Robinson-Shirley, her father Fred Pearson and one brother.
Sandra attended school in Boonville, Missouri and graduated in 1971 from Laura Speed Elliott High School. After graduating from high school Sandra attended and completed the Woman's Job Corp in Excelsior Springs, Missouri.
Sandra was a member of St. Matthew AME Church where she joyfully served as a Sunday School Teacher to the children, usher, announcement clerk and as a Stewardess. Sandra loved her church.
Sandra leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter LaQueena Robinson of Boonville, Missouri; her sister Barbara (Paul) McCurry Jefferson City, Missouri; Three brothers Lilburn Shirley, Charles and Lionel Pearson all of Boonville, Missouri; three grandchildren, DeVonta Sanders, DeAndra and DeVora Shipley; three aunts, Georgie Mae Chester and Nettie White of Boonville, Missouri and Arlene (Adolphus Sr.) Alexander of Dallas, Texas two uncles Thomas Elbert of Chicago, Illinois and James (Velma) Pearson of Las Vegas, Nevada; one niece Shreenia Cummings of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; three great nieces; one special cousin Angela Williams of Boonville, Missouri (that worked tirelessly during Sandra's illness and helping LaQueena), a host of cousins and many other relatives, family members and friends.
