Sandra Nine's Obituary
Sandra Lee (Heslop) Nine, 77, Sedalia Missouri passed on 3-17-2019 at Boone Hospital in Columbia Missouri. Born in Eaglegrove, Iowa to Edward and Threilia Heslop. Both deceased.
Married to Frank Nine of Sedalia on September 1, 1957. They met rather strangely on Sandra’s 15th birthday. The lady giving the birthday party that day picked up a hitchhiker, which was Frank, and she invited him to the party. He of course accepted the invitation and it was love from then on for the two of them.
To their union they had 5 children. Crystal (Brent) Nichols - Sedalia, Diggy Nine - Sedalia, Michelle (Ray) Koontz – Bellville TX, Teresa Baker- Alexander AR, and Lori Roark – Jefferson City
2 sisters Judy Nine and Lisa Padilla. 17 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren
Sandra worked as a ground’s keeper in Sedalia at the Missouri State Fair Grounds until she retired.
She absolutely LOVED her family, her hobbies were crocheting, embroidering and the love of gardening and just being outside. She was a water baby and would always start water fights with the family. She loved her chickens and rabbits, she was a lawn mowing nut!
Life celebration/Memorial services will be held Saturday May 4, 2019 at the home of Frank and Sandra located at 27680 Sigman Circle Sedalia, Mo at 2p.m. There will be a pot luck lunch starting at 11A.M. weather permitting all services and pot luck lunch will be held outside at the home. The family will be planting a tree in Sandra’s memory and they are asking in lieu of cut flowers please give outdoor plants and flowers to be planted.
