Sabra Bluitt's Obituary
Sabra Bluitt, 58, of Columbia entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at her home. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Friendship Baptist Church.
Sabra Doris Cooper was born on April 28, 1954 to Vivian Lee Cooper Patrick and Charles D. Boothe in Columbia, Mo. She graduated from David H. Hickman High School in 1973, where paved the way for many young black girls who aspired to become cheerleaders.
Sabra married Leonard Lee Bluitt from Dallas, TX., after 30 years of friendship and love he preceded her in death in December 2011. She retired from Strasberger and price Law firm in August 2007, where she was account payable supervisor for 19 years. Her true passion was event planning called A Personal Touch by Sabra.
She leaves to cherish her memory her Goddaughters Chanee Dawson, April Hopton, Krystal Hopton, Jarann Peoples all of Texas, sisters Jacquelyn S. Avant, Charliss C. Taylor)Caroles), Erica Sutton, her brothers Robert A. Cooper, Charles L. Hill (Sho-Shana), Dean A. Patrick, Derrick A. Patrick, Damon C. Ballenger(Velma), Kevin COllins, one aunt, Billie S. Cooper and two uncles James E. Cooper and Charles B. Cooper, 15 nieces and nephews, 28 great-nieces and nephews.
