Robert Eugene King's Obituary
Robert King, 62, of Columbia, slept into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, January 12, 2017, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday at the H.T. May and Son Funeral Home in Columbia. Visitation will be from 11-12 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
Robert King was born on February 9, 1954 in Columbia, MO., the son of John and Geraldine Coats King Sr. Bobby loved to play Bingo and going to the boat. He was especially known for playing his scratch off tickets at the Breaktime on Garth Avenue. He was fondly called Breaktime Bobby.
He leaves to cherish his memory his brothers John King Jr. (Rasheedah), Elias King (Kim), Richard King (Byrde), Edward King, and Anthony King, and one sister Marilyn King all of Columbia, Mo. one aunt Cecelia Hicks of Columbia, MO., and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Geraldine Coats King-Gordon, and John King Sr., his step-father Edward B. Gordon and a brother James King.
