Richard "R.C." Gaines' Obituary
Richard "R.C." Gaines, 82, of Fayette, passed away on Saturday April 9, 2016 at Cooper County Memorial Hospital in Boonville. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at St. Paul United Methodist Church In Fayette. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 11-1 PM.
Richard "RC" Gaines was born on July 15, 1933 in Fayette, Missouri, the son of Will and Mary Bly Gaines. He Attended Dalton High School. He was formerly employed at Central Methodist College.
He leaves to cherish his memory two sisters Nadine Bynum of Kansas City, Mo., and Mabel Taylor of Detroit, Mi. and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters: J.B. Gaines, John Gaines, Arthur Lewis Gaines, Richard O. "Dick" Gaines, Eliza Gaines, Minnie Gaines-Crump, Barbara Gaines.
