Richard Cloud's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Cloud, who left us on May 14, 2025 at the age of 61 after a short battle with cancer. Richard was a beloved family member, friend, and respected professional who made an indelible mark on the community of Columbia, Missouri. He was born on October 13, 1963, in Huntsville, Missouri to Tom and Joy Cloud.
Richard’s hobbies included showing German Shepards when growing up and traveling all across the United States while pursuing the hobby.
Richard was a dedicated bail bondsman in Columbia for over 35 years, serving countless individuals and families during some of their most challenging times. Known for his integrity, commitment, and compassion, he built a reputation for being fair, reliable, and always willing to go the extra mile to help those in need. His expertise in the field, along with his deep understanding of the law, made him a trusted figure among clients, law enforcement, and legal professionals alike.
Throughout his career, Richard was not just a bondsman but a mentor and a friend to many. He believed in second chances and was passionate about making a positive difference in people’s lives. His impact on the community will not soon be forgotten.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Richard was a devoted husband and father, always putting his family first. He is survived by wife Stacie Cloud and children Makayla Cloud, Bryce Cloud, Haylie Cloud, and Miley Cloud all of Columbia.
Richard will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of service, kindness, and dedication will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and the many lives he touched.
