Regina Jackson's Obituary
Regina Jackson, 70, of Sedalia, MO. passed into eternity on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at her daughter's home in Warrensburg. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at 2:00 PM at the Alexander-May Funeral Home in Sedalia.
She was born on May 28, 1946, in Sedalia the daughter of James and Bessie (Johnson) Jackson, who preceded her in death.
She worked at Lamy's Manufacturing in Sedalia until closing and for the Sedalia Parks and Recreation Department. While living in Sedalia, she attended First Baptist Church. Regina enjoyed cooking, music, dancing, go shopping at thrift stores and especially spending time her with family.
Survivors include five children, Alicia Jackson of Kansas City, MO, Rhonda J. Jackson of Sedalia, Suyin B. Jackson of Kansas City, MO, Sparlow E. Jackson of Warrensburg, and Terreka S. Jackson of Warrensburg; four sisters, Angeline Jackson of Sedalia, Evangeline Jackson of Jefferson City, Almeda Smith of Sedalia and Alfreda Bird (Otis) of Fulton; twenty-two grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she is also preceded in death by three brothers James Jackson, Jr., William Jackson and Marvin Jackson, twin sibling Eugena Jackson, sisters Carol Jackson, Helen Wilson, Barbara Wilkes, and Imogene Payton.
