Regina Crews, 55 of Columbia, MO passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at her home. Funeral services will be on Saturday. March 19, 2022 at St. Luke United Methodist Church at 12PM. Visitation will be from 11-12PM at the church.
Regina Lorraine Crews, 55 of Columbia, MO Passed away March 12, 2022. She was Born October 14, 1966 in Hannibal, Missouri to Mr. Russell Lee and Mrs. Alice Mae (Scott) Crews.
She was preceded in death by both parents Russell and Alice Crews; brothers Roy Abbey and Allen Lee Crews; sister Thieland Abbigail Crews; niece Amanda Lee Crews and nephews “little” Tim Wright and Christopher Crews. She is survived by her son Scottie Crews of Columbia, MO daughter Stephanie Marie (Selette) Crews of St Louis MO, and two grandsons Kristopher Crews-Vanetta and Cordell Crews both of Columbia, MO. Two sisters Alice Crews, and Kathryn Crews both of Columbia, MO. two brothers Russell T. Crews of South Carolina and Tim Wright of Columbia, MO. Nieces: Shelia, Elissa, Shianne; nephews: Russell Jr, Patrick, Brandon, Carlos, D’Angelo, DeMarco, Austin, Devanta. Great niece Da’Anara and great nephews D’Andres, D’Andrae, Myles and Jamari.
Regina graduated from Hickman High School in 1984. Went to Columbia College for several years. Shortly after, started working as a Mental Health Professional at what was known as Mid-Missouri Mental Health. Later she went to work at The Phoenix Program, where she assisted in providing effective treatment for those seeking recovery from drugs and alcohol addiction. Her caring and helping nature made her very passionate regarding her work and she loved her patients, especially the Veterans. Regina also loved traveling with her family. Her and her family were able to go to many places throughout the United States. Regina was noted to say she had so many fond memories of the GREAT times she had on vacation. She also loved to laugh and have a good time with friends and family. Additionally, she loved animals especially her cats. Many friends and family said that “She was the best friend anyone could have”. Regina will truly be missed by her patients, family and friends but, She Will Not Be Forgotten.
