Rayondre Jacquez Johnson, 29, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on June 29, 2025.
Born on October 4, 1995, in Columbia, Missouri, Rayondre was the beloved son of Jason Carr and Renee Johnson. He later made his home in Kansas City, where he built a life surrounded by family, friends, and the daughter he adored.
Rayondre was a devoted father to his daughter, Rai’air Johnson, and found his greatest joy in spending time with her. He loved being with family, lighting fireworks, and relaxing with his loyal dog, Chief. He had a gift for working with his hands—whether it was fixing something around the house or helping others with a project. He truly was a jack of all trades.
Throughout his life, Rayondre worked in a variety of fields, including dog grooming, lawn care, security, and retail. He approached every role with dedication and an easygoing spirit that made people feel at ease.
He is survived by his parents, Jason Carr and Renee Johnson; his daughter, Rai’air Johnson; sisters, Shayana McQuitty and Quincy Carr; uncles, Richard (Toni) Johnson, Lionel (Barbara) Johnson, Josef M. (Kyra) Carr Jr., Kent Carr, and Jacob (Sharonne) Carr; aunts, Nettie “Antoinette” Johnson, VerDonna (Mark) Pinkett, Andrea (Bernard) Green, and Chaka Carr; and special cousins, Takala Johnson, Tiallo Clemons, and Tiffany (Kevin) Black. He also leaves behind many other extended family members and close friends who will deeply miss him.
Rayondre was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Sylvester “Cleon” Johnson and Bishop Joseph Carr Sr., and his grandmothers, Elginora Johnson and Anna Broadus.
Those who knew Rayondre will remember his kind heart, his loyalty, and the way he lit up when talking about his daughter. His spirit lives on in every life he touched.
