Raydell "Skip" Powell Jr., 68, of Columbia, MO, formerly of Fayette, MO, entered into paradise on Monday, August 19, at his home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019, at St. Paul United Methodist church in Fayette at 12:00 PM. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM -12PM at the church.
Raydell "Skip" Powell Jr. better known as One Time Jim, Departed this world on August 19, 2019 at his home.
He was born in Howard County to Raydell Powell Sr. and Oneida Jones Powell on August 30, 1950. Skip graduated in 1969 from Fayette High School. He Joined the United States Marine Corps after graduation. He is a Vietnam Veteran.
In 1972 he married Regina Baskett of Fayette Missouri and she survived. He is survived by 4 daughters, Medea (Darryl) Conner of Howardville, Mo., Tera Powell of Columbia, Mo., Marrietta (Adrean) Chism of Terrill, Tx., Mercedes Powell of Fayette, Mo. And 1 son Raydell Powell 3rd of Columbia, Mo., 3 brothers Charles Rowden of Kansas City, Mo., Russell Powell of Columbia, Mo., And Edgar Powell of Columbia, Mo., 2 Sisters Rhonda (Kenneth) Matthews of Columbia, Mo. And Alicia Williams of Columbia, Mo. 11 Grand Children and 6 Great Grand Children and a whole host of Cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Grand Parents, 2 Grand Children and 1 Sister.
