Ravid D. Smith, 52, of Columbia, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at his home. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at the H.T. May and Son Funeral Home in Boonville.
Ravid Donald Smith was born February 15, 1970, in Chicago, IL, the son of Alfreda Ferguson and Ravid Smith Sr.
Ravid loved James Brown and he loved to cook. He was a big sports fan. Ravid was definitely a people person, and he never met a stranger. He was always immaculately dressed and was always clean in his dress.
He leaves to cherish his memory his Mother Alfreda Johnson, four children Ravid Smith III and Rayonna Smith both of Milwaukee, WI, Shaquille Brumfield and Tamarya Johnson of Chicago, IL, two brothers Theodis Ferguson of Tampa, Fl, and Barry Johnson of Chicago, IL, two sisters Vernita Ferguson and Raishawn Smith both of Topeka, KS, five grandchildren and two wonderful friends Sophia Allen and Donctella Williams both of Columbia, MO.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister Felicia Ferguson.
