Phyllis D. Hawthorne 's Obituary
Phyllis Hawthorne, 63, of Columbia,MO., passed into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at University of Missouri Hospital. Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at H.T. May and Son Funeral Home in Columbia at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be from 12-1 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Phyllis was born on August 24, 1953 in Sedalia, MO., the daughter of Johnnie and Bernice Frye Roseman. She worked a para professional at New Haven Elementary School She was married to William Hawthorne and he survives of the home.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband William Hawthorne, two step-sons Gregory Scott of Springfield, MO., and Jeremy Hawthorne of Overland Park, KS., one step-daughter Eugenie Fairfax of Long Beach, CA., one brother David Roseman(Jada) of Emeryville, CA., two sisters Connie Ramsey(Nathaniel) of Aylett, VA., and Lucille Green of Columbia, MO., three aunts Rose Madden, Helen Butler and Ella McDonald, and one Uncle Harrison Frye, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, seven neices and nephews and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, one son Michael Roseman , and two brothers Harold Roseman and Douglas Roseman.
