Phyllis Marie Brawley, 71, of Mid-Missouri, passed away on November 12, 2025, after a courageous battle with ongoing health issues. Even in her most difficult moments,
Phyllis never lost the warmth, humor, and creativity that defined her. She held tightly to the things she loved most—her family, her crafts, and her beloved kitten, Wilma.
Phyllis was born on July 16, 1954, in St. Louis, Missouri. In 1973, she married her lifelong partner, Donnie, beginning a beautiful marriage that lasted more than 52 years. Together, they welcomed four children and built a life full of love, resilience, and countless memories as they raised their family throughout mid-Missouri.
Phyllis was the proud mother of Steven (Eileen), the late Donald, Christopher (Leah), and Jill. She adored her grandchildren—Cheyenne, Steven, Aaron, Clairice, Elijah, and Elianna—and found immense joy in her great-grandchildren, Alana and Kinsley. Nothing brought her more happiness than being surrounded by her family.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Helen; her son, Donald; and her brother, Mike. She is survived by her devoted husband, Donnie; her children Steven (Eileen), Christopher (Leah), and Jill; and her siblings Glenna, Debbie, Cherie, Robert, Jim, and Elizabeth.
Phyllis’ legacy is one of unconditional love, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. She will be forever remembered for her kind heart, her talent for crafting, and the gentle way she cared for those around her—including the pets she cherished.
She leaves behind a lifetime of memories that her family will continue to carry close to their hearts.
