Peter Mathis' Obituary
Peter Conrad Mathis,age 54, passed away on June 17th, 2020 in Moberly Regional Medical Center.
Peter was born on February 27th, 1966 to Thomas Franklin Mathis Sr. and Velma Ruth Mathis in Searcy, Arkansas.
He grew up in Velvet Ridge Arkansas and worked cutting timber most of his life.
He is survived by his siblings Arley Mathis, Tammy Mathis(sister-n-law), Marvin Mathis, Brenda Mathis (sister-n-law), Thomas Mathis jr , Johnny Mathis, Robert Mathis, Paul Mathis, Connie Mathis (sister-n-law), Adam Mathis, Ex wife Lynelle Stanford and his many nieces and nephews.
Peter is the Father of Amber Mathis, Steven Mathis, Kristen Rush, Stuart Rush (son-n-law), Jennifer Mathis, Skyler Haynes (son-n-law), and Miranda Mathis. (And many others that weren’t biologically his)
Peter is the pawpaw of Haddley Haynes, Hudson Haynes, Colton Rush, Jaelyn Rice, Carter Mills and Athena Rice.
Peter is proceeded in death by his mother Velma and father Thomas, his Granny Effie Sullivan and Grandpa Leroy Sullivan brother Dewayne, sister Diane, and his grandson Michael Nicholas Thomas Jr.
A time of gathering will be held on Thursday, June 25th from 2:00pm until 7:00 pm at the Kensett House of Prayer at 202 East Searcy St. Kensett Arkansas.
