Pauline Williams,97, of Riverside, Mo., formerly of Mexico, Mo. passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015 . Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 31,201 at St. Luke United Methodist Church in Mexico, Mo. at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be from 1-2 Saturday at the church.
Pauline C. Williams was born February 11, 1918, in Fulton, Missouri, to Paul and Valerie Cooper. She was the eldest of this union. Pauline departed this life on Tuesday, October 27, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edward Williams; both parents, two sisters, Lois Dean Brown and Erna Mae Taylor; two stepsons, Hudson and Thomas, and one grandson Brent.
Pauline accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church, in Mexico, Missouri, for over seventy years.
Pauline graduated from Lincoln Lab High School in Jefferson City, MO. She also attended Harris Teachers College in St. Louis, Missouri.
Pauline worked as a psychiatric nurse at Audrain Medical Center, where she later retired. She was also a charter member and Past Worthy Matron of the Pride of the East #112 for over sixty years.
Pauline leaves to cherish her memories five sons, Charles (Paula), Skokie, Illinois; Gerald (Madeline), Smithville, Missouri; Clyde (Edna), Lee’s Summit, Missouri; Warren (Idarozell), Olathe, Kansas; and Howard (Viola), Columbia, Missouri; 21 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
