Not only is she my friend she is and always will be my family. Our friendship/ familyship goes all the way back to the early 80's. She and I worked at St. Marys Hospital in Jefferson City Missouri. I worked in the ER, my mother in the ER and Paula worked on the orthopedic floor. When I met her Jolomi was probably 2 years old. We all became the best of friends and then she became our family. She recently told my sister Tamika and I we were her sister nieces and my mother was her sister. Not blood related, but attached by the heart. Remembering every minute of our sister/ familyship we shared awesome memories, hilarious laughter and good times. She spoke straight from the hip no chaser. She would do anything for you and vice versa. Our hour(s) long marathon phone calls, we're the best! I'd call her and she would greet me with her " Hey girl hey" or she'd call me with the same " hey girl hey". We'd talk about God and how good He was. I'll always remember our last"I love yours because they were authentic. I will always love her because God's love is everlasting and never ending. ♥️ I will forever love and miss my sister friend/ family. This isn't a goodbye because we'll see each other again. We'll meet each other once again with" our "Hey girl heys". I'm sure her and my mother are together on the arms of Jesus cutting up as they always did. This one hurts 😢 💔 but God blessed me and our family with the most precious gift, our love for each other. Sleep easy Paula I love you so. "Hey girl hey"...
