Paul Edward McClain, Jr.'s Obituary
Paul Edward McClain, Jr., 49, of Columbia, passed away Monday June 8, 2015 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday June 17, 2015 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Columbia. There will be no visitation.
Paul Edward McClain Jr. was born March 21, 1966 in Columbia, Mo. he was born to the union of Paul Edward McClain Sr. and Bertha Cameron. He was the first of two children born to this union.
Paul Jr. was the eldest son and preceded in death by his younger brother Roszell Cameron four grandparents Shelly and Nancy Booker, Alvin and Jefella McClain.
Paul Jr. dedicated his life and services to help younger people who struggled with problems within their life inside the juvenile court system. Paul Jr. was a mentor an counselor for anyone having problems and trouble adjusting to life.
Paul was employed at university of Missouri Hospital. He was a dedicated worker, He enjoyed fishing, telling jokes, helping others and stand up comedy. His charm, his quick wit, uncanny sense of humor and his stories. We will laugh and share those memories which will bring us laughter for years to come. He loved his family dearly and was a friend to all.
Paul Jr. leaves to cherish his memory two daughters Charity Hurshey of Lansing, MI., and Ollivier McClain of Columbia, Mo. and two sons Chance McClain and Savance Brewer of Columbia, Mo. his father Rev. Paul McClain Sr.(Dorothy) of Cape Girardeau, Mo., his mother Bertha(George) Cameron of St. Louis, Mo., one brother Anthony(Salika) McClain of Lansing, MI., two sisters Elaine Curren and Erica Johnson and two grandchildren Aubrey anad Rajzaun, six uncles, five aunts, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
For the last ten years Paul Jr. shared his life with his special friend Judy Hubberd.
