Patsy S Roach's Obituary
Patsy Sue (Peterman) Roach, age 84 born August 8, 1941,passed on April 27, 2026, at Ashley Manor Center in Boonville, Missouri where Patsy had resided the past 8 ½ years. Patsy married very young, marrying Leonard Roach who was in the USAF stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base. Patsy was living in Marshall, Missouri where she was born and raised. They met at church and were married on August 31, 1957. Leonard preceded her in death on October 24, 2017. They were married 60 years that year. Three children were born to this union. Vicki (Mark) Friedrich of Wooldridge, Missouri, Michael (Debbie) Roach of Riverside, California and Lori Samet of Harrisonville, Missouri. Patsy had seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren that were blessed to call her grandma.
When Patsy married, she didn’t complete high school but later in life she obtained her GED and went on to go to college at Johnson County Community College. She enjoyed writing poems and stories and loved college. She worked in insurance and retired from there in her late 50’s.
She always had a ready smile and easily made friends and had many at Ashley Manor over the years both residents and staff.
The family wishes to thank those who lovingly cared for her forthese past years at Ashley Manor and Hometown Hospice. We as her family have no doubt her heart and soul belonged to Jesus.
