Patricia Ivy's Obituary
Patricia Lynn Ivy, 53, of New Franklin, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, May 25, 2026.
Patricia was born on April 19, 1973, in Fayette, Missouri, to Margaret Felten and Bobby Chew. She attended Fayette schools and spent many years working as a caregiver and in home health care, where she touched the lives of many families with her compassion and kindness.
On February 17, 1990, she married the love of her life, Kevin Dale Ivy. Together they built a loving family and shared many cherished years together.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Kevin Ivy; her two daughters, Jessica Garing (Clayton) of New Franklin and Tiffany Hutchison (Jamie) of Sedalia; and her son, Cody Ivy (Carolyn) of Boonville. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren: Sawyer Garing, Alex Ivy, Lilly Hutchison, Katnis Hutchison, Taegan Hutchison, Kaden Ivy, Braden Ivy, and Brooklyn Ivy; and five step-grandchildren: Treysen Hutchison, Jaymen Hutchison, Sophia Hutchison, Kegan Doyle, and Harmony Moore.
She is further survived by her sister, Robin Henderson (James) of Pace, Florida, and her brother, Donnie Lusby (Peggy) of Boonville, Missouri.
Tricia cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved listening to music, playing cards, decorating her flowerbeds with yard ornaments, and watching hummingbirds.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Chew; her stepfather, Joe Snoddy; and her two brothers, Danny Chew and Harry “Eddie” Chew.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the New Franklin Community Building.
