Opera Payne's Obituary
Opera T. Payne, 85, of New Franklin, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at her home. Services will be held on Friday, May 15, 2020, at H.T. May and Son Funeral Home in Boonville. Visitation will be from 11 AM to 1 PM at the funeral home.
Opera T. Payne was born on July 1, 1934 in Hayti, Missouri to Lummie and Anniebell Thomas.
She worked at Con Agra as a processor and was a member of the Teach and Sew Club for many years.
She leaves to cherish her memory her seven children Carolyn Campbell of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Larry Campbell of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Marilyn (Gregory) Wright of Franklin, Missouri, Anita (Mervin) McDonald of Columbia, Missouri, Luther Payne Jr. of Boonville, Missouri, Lynette (Clarence) Palmer of Marshall, Missouri and Tamara Payne of New Franklin, Missouri. She also leaves nineteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Luther Payne and her parents.
