Norbert Dennis Sims' Obituary
Norbert Dennis Sims, 73, of Columbia, MO, passed away on Saturday, October 28th, 2023, at the University of Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at H.T .May and Sons Funeral Home in Boonville at 12pm. Visitation will be from 11-12 Saturday at the funeral home.
Norbert Dennis Sims was born March 10, 1950, the son of Eugene and Ada B. Nelson Sims in New Lebanon, MO. He drove trucks for a living and had a CDL License. He married his wife Kathy on July 25, 1992, and she survives of the home. He loved spending time with his family, and some of his hobbies were NASCAR, cowboy boots and dancing. He had a mystery friend named Jack.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Kathy Sims of Columbia, MO, one son Norbert Sims Jr. (Michelle) of Boonville, MO, two daughters Brandy Sims of Columbia, MO, and Geneva Sims of Sedalia, MO, one brother Donald Sims of Kansas City, MO, and three grandchildren, Adrian Tyler Sims, Nathaniel William Sims and Noah Matthew Sims.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Adrian L. Sims and four brothers Kenneth, Richard, Wayne and Leonard Sr.
