Nora McCann's Obituary
Nora Sue McCann (née Kemp), age 69, of Mexico, Missouri, passed away surrounded by love and family. She was born on November 26, 1956, in Mexico, Missouri, to Floyd and Ruby Kemp.
Nora dedicated the majority of her life to caring for others through her work as a nurse. Compassionate, strong-willed, and always willing to lend a hand, she touched countless lives with her kindness and steady presence.
A free spirit at heart, Nora had a passion for motorcycle riding and traveled many miles on her bike throughout her lifetime. She also loved to cook for the people she cared about, and her delicious recipes — especially her unforgettable yeast rolls and famous potato salad — will be cherished and passed down for years to come.
Nora had a deep love for her family above all else. Nora's love of the color purple and Blake Shelton will long be remembered.
She is survived by her daughter Melissa Williams-Pulley and son-in-law Courtney Pulley; her grandchildren Ciara Carter and Caris Pulley; stepdaughter Christina McCann Harper; stepsons Isaac McCann, Reggie McCann, and Matthew McCann; brothers David Kemp and Jerry Kemp; and her many beloved nieces and nephews: Jamie Lynn Schafer, Rebecca Barnes, Thomas Kemp, DeLisa Kemp, Michael Lewis, Weslie McWilliams, and Kenneth Riley Kemp.
Nora was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Ruby Kemp, and her brother William (Billy) Kemp.
A come and go Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 12th in Mexico, Missouri, at the Elks Lodge from 3-5pm. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to The Heriford House in Columbia, MO. Venmo donations to: https://www.venmo.com/u/THHFoundation
