She wasn’t perfect, but when she loved you , you knew it and when she didn’t you knew that too. She loved the Lord or as she would say “My God” . She was a well educated strong black mother, women, wife, sister and friend. She will be dearly missed. This lady is in heaven with that beautiful smile, enjoying the Lord. She was without a doubt the best Mother, Grandmother, and great-grandmother in the world. She raised us to believe we could be anybody or anything we wanted to be.
She really believed in education . She graduated at the top of her Senior Class at Roosevelt High School. She inspired us all and she was one of the smartest people we knew. She was a beautiful spirit. She could cook, OMG, she could throw down.
She leaves to cherish her memory a son William(Connie) Dabney, two daughters Tara Stemmons and Dawn Richardson, cousins Sharrod Graham and JoAnn (Ernest) Williams, and a special friend(sister) , Doris Gray, 14 grandchildren, 1o step grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren, and of course her heart, Snuggles her puppy.
She was preceded in death by her mother, grandparents, brother, and her great grandson and a lot of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins,
Love always, William C, Tara Janelle, Dawn Marie and Me.
