Nathan Young, 70, of Columbia, MO, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026. Services still be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 12:00 PM at St. Luke United Methodist Church in Columbia. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the church.
It is with profound sadness that the loved ones of Nathan Young announce his passing on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the age of 70.
Nathan was born October 20, 1955, in Columbia, Missouri to the late Joyce Malveaux and his stepfather Marvin Malveaux.
Nathan attended Columbia Public Schools and remained close to home throughout his life.
Nathan enjoyed spending time with family and friends, he enjoyed Pepsi, fried chicken and basketball.
He is survived by four sons Shawn Turner, Lajuane Broadus, Courtney and Brandon Hauber, one daughter Fredonyal Coleman, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Four brothers Marvin Malveaux (Venita), Wallace Malveaux (Deronda), Quentin Malveaux and Thaddeus Malveaux, one sister Rosaland Malveaux, one Aunt Shirley Buford, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Ethel Young, both parents, two uncles
William Donnell and Millard Young, one sister Janet Young.
